Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School is a co-ed independent school educating students from 2-year-old pre-kindergarten through 8th grade in the Memphis, TN community. Founded in 1947, Grace-St. Luke’s has long been recognized for its Episcopal identity, challenging academic program, and our nurturing community. Our Central Gardens location allows us to serve families from midtown, downtown, East Memphis, and beyond. We are dedicated to preparing boys and girls to become creative problem solvers, confident lifelong learners, and responsible citizens in their neighborhoods and the world.
With 21st Century skills at the forefront, we are preparing the next generation of thinkers, doers, and makers. Creative endeavors such as Tinker labs, 3D printers, and engaging, hands-on science labs allow students to explore their creativity while in a structured environment. Also, the unique opportunities afforded to the 8th grade class rival those offered to seniors in high school. With a public speaking series and a three-day internship program at local and national businesses, 8th graders experience meaningful hands-on learning outside the classroom. Our school-wide Service Learning curriculum, introduced in the 2015-2016 school year, immerses our students in the importance of being responsible global citizens on and off campus. Our graduates are highly sought after by the best high schools in the Mid-South.
