MICHAEL THOMPSON, Ph.D.is a consultant, author, and psychologist specializing in children and families. He is the clinical consultant to The Belmont Hill School and has worked in more than 500 independent schools across the United States, as well as in schools in Central America, Europe, and Asia. He was the facilitator for the NAIS Institute for New Heads from 1991 to 2000, and has served as the facilitator for the Academy of International School Heads for several years.

ROBERT (ROB) EVANS, Ed.D., is a clinical and organizational psychologist and the Executive Director of The Human Relations Service in Wellesley, MA. A former high school and pre-school teacher, and a former child and family therapist, he has worked with schools and families for over 30 years. Dr. Evans has consulted to over 1,200 schools across the country, working with teachers, administrators, boards, and parents. He also works with human service agencies and corporations.

Rob Evans and Michael Thompson facilitate the SAIS Institute for Experienced Heads and the SAIS Administrative Leadership Institute each year.
