2009 SAIS-NAIS Winter Retreat

"Trustee 101" for Heads & Board Members
January 14-16, 2009 - Atlanta, GA

This board/head-focused retreat is designed for independent school leaders and board members. The theme for the 2009 retreat is "Trustee 101" and will cover a variety of governance-related topics, including a session on "Financially Sustainable Schools" by Pat Bassett. All board members - both new and experienced - and administrators will benefit from this popular event, which will take place at the Emory Conference Center & Hotel in Atlanta, GA.  Partial scholarships to cover 50% of the registration fee are available on a first-come, first-served basis; see details below.

Scholarships

There is a limited amount of scholarship funding available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who wish to attend the 2009 SAIS-NAIS Winter Retreat and receive 50% off the registration fee.  The scholarship offer may be redeemed for any participant, whether head of school or board member.  There is a limit of three individuals per SAIS member school (or board).   To receive 50% off your registration fee, simply enter this promo code on the payment page (at the end of the online registration form):  50percent

Registration

Registration is $595 without lodging for SAIS members who register before 12/20/08.  Registration with lodging is available for $795.  To take advantage of the 50% scholarship, simple use the promo code "50percent" on the payment page of the online registration form.

Cancellation Policy:  The registration price minus a $150 processing fee will be refunded for cancellations received in writing to leeanne@sais.org on or before December 19, 2008.  Cancellations received after December 19, 2008, are not eligible for a refund but replacement registrants are welcome.  Replacement registrant names must be submitted by January 9, 2009.
