You knew coming into your role that it would involve strenuous work, with each school year a marathon. Before the pandemic, however, you could count on having water stations along the way. There were enough moments of joy and connection to replenish you, and there were enough moments of satisfaction that came with meeting the many challenges of the job. Not now. You haven't exhaled since March. Everyone is talking at you and asking you to solve too many problems at once. As the lightning rod for stressed out colleagues and parents, you're fried.

Dr. Paula Chu of the Stanley H. King Institute will lead us through interactive experiences and share tools for listening to each other and being listened to in return. Feeling too busy to take a sip of a restorative conversation with a fellow school leader? You do see what’s wrong with that picture, right? We hope you’ll join us for this engaging and thoughtful opportunity.
