Lake Mary Preparatory School in Orlando, FL, has been educating students since 1999, and has found a wonderful place to call home right in the center of Lake Mary. We are committed to providing our students with opportunities to be challenged and stretched academically and at the same time offered exciting options in fine/performing arts, athletics and extracurricular activities, all in a nurturing and caring environment.

Beginning in PreK 3, students are encouraged to think critically and analytically. “Think Tank” is a class where we foster “outside of the box” thinking and generate new ways to problem solve. Lower school students are also able to participate in the arts: Visual Art, Choir, Musical Instruction, and Foreign Language.

Middle School and Upper School students are exposed to multiple languages (Spanish, and Chinese) and are able to foster their interest in foreign language as they grow. Many extracurricular opportunities are available as well, such as speech & debate, student government, and National Honor Society, in addition to the 13 junior varsity and varsity sports on campus.

Upper school students at Lake Mary Prep have many opportunities to peek their interest in regards to a career path. As part of our revitalized STEM program, this year we have introduced a very popular robotics and coding class. This class allows students to understand how robots and computer coding are utilized in the Engineering profession. Offering between 16-17 Advanced Placement (AP) classes to upper school students to obtain college credit during their upper school career is another way in which we address our philosophy of stretching the individualized opportunities for students.  Lake Mary Preparatory’s pass rate of 81% far surpasses the national pass rate of 61%. The enriched program is complemented by a wide variety of opportunities to be involved in community projects and travel, thus fostering talents and skills to be successful in college and beyond.
