Brandon Hall School is Atlanta’s global boarding and day school, offering rolling admissions for students grades 6 to 12. The school’s mission is to challenge students to lead lives of leadership, scholarship, and service. Brandon Hall celebrates learning, fosters global citizenship, embraces diversity, encourages athleticism and artistic expression, and inspires students to find their path and lead the way. The campus is nestled on 27 acres of a wooded nature preserve overlooking the Chattahoochee River.

Brandon Hall’s boarding program offers students the ability to live on campus, immersing themselves in the college preparatory experience. BHS students come from more than 22 countries and 10 states. Live-in dorm parents supervise evening study halls and provide guidance around learning essential social and leadership skills. On weekends, boarders have a menu of options that capitalize on having Atlanta’s attractions and cultural events at their doorstep.

The day program emphasizes academics, arts, and participation on a wide variety of athletic teams. An 8:1 student-to-teacher ratio allows for purposeful and meaningful engagement with the learning process. A comprehensive arts program provides students opportunities to refine performance and visual arts skills and to showcase their talents in major productions, concerts, and art installations. Community service is an integral part of the Brandon Hall mission. Every student participates in at least five experiential service projects each year at a number of different locations around Atlanta, including Habitat for Humanity, The Ronald McDonald House, Books For Africa, Lost and Found Thrift Store, and many more.

Brandon Hall’s innovative summer programs truly set it apart. In 2016, the school founded the Center for Global Youth Leadership and Social Entrepreneurial Studies. Three-week summer entrepreneurial boot camps in June and July are designed to inspire young leaders from all over the world. Global Youth Leadership students collaborate to solve some of the world’s most challenging issues while engaging in workshops with leaders and innovators throughout Atlanta and internationally.
