Franklin Road Academy is a pre-kindergarten through 12th grade coeducational independent school offering the unique combination of a challenging and supportive educational experience in an inclusive Christian community. Students are inspired to joyfully pursue their academic and co-curricular passions and to love one another well. FRA is a place where students are encouraged to think critically, act with integrity, and lead in service to others.

From our youngest pre-kindergarteners to rising seniors, students develop their minds, bodies, and spirits through involvement at FRA. We value a well-rounded student experience, and because of our intentional school size, students are able and encouraged to take risks and discover their passions. Athletics and Arts are integral parts of the overall learning experience at FRA, and you may often see a multi-sport athlete play a major role in a drama or musical.

One hundred percent of our graduates are accepted into four-year colleges and universities across the country, and our goal is to ensure all of our students find the best match for themselves academically, athletically, and socially. Our alumni lead “Nashville’s Top 30 Under 30” recognition among the city’s most active young professionals and philanthropists, and nearly 10 percent of this year’s senior class has been recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

While many students begin attending FRA as early as pre-kindergarten, there are multiple entry points, and students come from a variety of backgrounds, representing 12 countries and 46 zip codes.

Go to, and discover why FRA is the premier coeducational independent school for students in grades PK3 – 12.
