  • Logan Bowlds, Middle School Head, Stratford Academy, Macon, GA
  • Melissa Davis, Lower School Head, Berkeley Preparatory School, Tampa, FL
  • Jonathan Day, Upper School Head, Savannah Country Day School, Savannah, GA
  • Sarah Housley, Lower School Head, The Montgomery Academy, Montgomery, AL
  • Michael Magno, Middle School Head, Providence Day School, Charlotte, NC

PAST PARTICIPANT COMMENTS:

  • I returned to school energized by new ideas to improve myself or my school, affirmed in some of what I'm already doing, and relieved to know that others go through similar experiences.
  • The DHC allowed me to gain new perspective, talk with others in similar roles, and build off of what I already know.
  • The DHC was a safe place to be vulnerable and to work with others to come up with concrete action steps for the immediate future.
  • I am thrilled that so many practical, helpful sessions were provided at one conference. I found the DHC to be a great investment!

SOCIAL MEDIA:

DRESS CODE:

Business casual (erring on the side of casual) is always safe with us. We want you to be comfortable. Be sure to bring a jacket or sweater in case you find the meeting room chilly. We tend to skew cooler rather than warmer.

QUESTIONS:

If you require special accommodations or have any questions, please contact info@sais.org.

THE FINE PRINT:

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received in writing to info@sais.org 21 days prior to the event will be refunded less a 20% processing fee. After that date no refunds are available, but replacement registrants are welcomed.

Consent to Use of Photo / Video / Audio:  Registration, attendance at, or participation in SAIS meetings and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to SAIS’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videos, electronic reproductions, and audio of such events and activities.

Target Audience: SAIS professional development events are designed for those currently employed in a K-12 independent school. Topics are presented and discussed from an independent school perspective and working within the unique culture of our schools. As such, registration is limited to those from schools that are either already members of SAIS or from non-member schools that meet the membership criteria. This includes established schools that offer an academic program within the K-12 continuum and is financed almost exclusively by private rather than public funds.
