ADVISORY GROUP:

Thank you to the members of the advisory group for the 2020 ADC:

  • Kiesha Brown, Assistant Athletic Director, The Galloway School, Atlanta, GA
  • Blake Davenport, CAA, Director of Athletics, Randolph School, Huntsville, AL
  • Scott Dorsett, CMAA, Director of Athletics, The Webb School, Bell Buckle, TN
  • Josh Scouten, Athletic Director,  University School of Nashville, TN

PAST PARTICIPANT COMMENTS:

  • Being able to network and pick other AD’s brains was very helpful. The fact that all the information was geared towards independent schools was really beneficial. Other conferences I have attended were more geared towards public schools.
  • This has been one of the most informational AD conferences that I have been able to attend for my profession.
  • I have a newfound appreciation for the close-knit independent school community. In one day, I made lifelong connections and was motivated by the experiences, stories, and antics of other colleagues across the region who share common goals and struggles in their schools.
  • The conference was very well organized with excellent speakers and relevant topics.
  • The most important part of the ADC was having the opportunity to learn more about the rapidly changing role of athletics in independent schools.
  • I am extremely grateful that SAIS hosted an athletic directors conference. It is incredibly difficult to find quality and relevant professional development for athletics. THANK YOU!
  • Great sessions and excellent chance to network with other ADs.
